Why I Love…Chocolates (Commentary)
When I was writing my why I love piece there where several articles found on the web and books inspired me to create my why I love piece. Firstly, when I looked at several books detailing on why chocolate is bad for kids called Nutrition For Kids, it sparked a flashback on my early days, when my mother used to scare me with macabre stories of an evil dentist that would torture little kids with toothaches. Also, when I visited a site called ProHealth.com it made me recall the times when I didn’t feel too guilty about eating chocolate, since there were so many claims chocolate was good for you.
Next , after reading chocolovers.com and Recipes for Chocolate both on and offline, it fueled the idea of the variety of taste and types of chocolate, as many would need a vivid and sense inducing feeling to really understand what I was writing in my piece. Plus when it came to writing on chocolates versatility, I turned to a website that described on the fun and fresh ways of using chocolate, my mind went back to my late childhood and teens where, my addictiveness to chocolate spanned to me trying to make everything chocolate.
Finally, when I was writing on it’s addictiveness, I lapsed back into the past when my bouts of kicking and screaming for chocolates were frequent since I was so addicted to it, I used pure memory for that part and the ending as I felt it was appropriate to use.
